INFORMATION FOR RENTERS

Time: 12 PM - 4 PM
Location: Eccles Community Art Center 2580 Jefferson Ave, Ogden, UT 84401

FREE TO ATTEND WITH FREE LUNCH!

Join us for a unique twist on the traditional open house! We are turning a home in East Central Ogden into a hub about housing.

Designed to engage the local neighborhood, the Open House Event invites residents to explore different rooms on the first floor of the home, each hosting presenters who will share insights on housing-related subjects.

OgdenCAN has partnered with OWCAP on a project dedicated to helping Ogden renters learn information that will help them navigate the housing system and attain stable long term housing.
while hosting workshops on housing at various locations, we heard from community members that the information needed to be brought "closer to home" to be more accessible. This event is our response to that request.

ABOUT THE LOCATION

The Eccles Community Arts Center, located at 2580 Jefferson Avenue, Ogden, Utah, serves as a vibrant hub for artistic expression in the community. Originally built in 1924 as a meeting hall for the Fraternal Order of Eagles, it was later renovated into a cultural center in 1988.
While not a house per se, its warm ambiance and welcoming atmosphere replicate the feeling of home, making it the perfect venue for our open house event. With its rich history and commitment to the arts, the Eccles Community Arts Center offers a unique and inspiring space for creativity to flourish.
